Decor for symposium__Labels that realizes that everything has to do with money, 2012

During a symposium of the Veerstichting called 'Everything is Economy', which was held for two days in the Pieterskerk (church) in Leiden, Frederike designed the decor. Labels in all sizes with different 'debatable wares' on it made a pattern through the church, started at the main stage. photo: Linette van Vlodrop & Jamie Snoeck

LangLeveLakerlopen__DNA-wall in the Lakerlopen district in Eindhoven, 2010

The neighbourhood-project Frederike did with Wijkwiskunde for Woonbedrijf in Eindhoven. Together with the residents of Lakerlopen (Eindhoven) we painted icons of all the house-types in the district on the wall. Typical words or little sentences from the residents, the DNA of Lakerlopen, were cut out of steel. Everybody got his own word, the positive, as a 'house-jewel', the negative part is placed on the wall. The positive always fits in the negative, so the neighbourhood will be attached to their district, even when they're moved to another place.

Schoolyard Livingroom__coated steel, 2009

A Schoolyard Livingroom for the Norbertus college in Roosendaal, in honor of their 90th anniversary. Jana Flohr and Frederike Top designed this piece of art. The shape of the furniture in the 'living room' is derived from sketch-like pen drawings, pulled into a 3-dimensional world, and eventually shaped of steel tubes like a climbing frame. The students will make this design complete by giving their own input in the empty rings. In this way it will be a dynamic piece of art which will be different every semester.

Interior and light design__Temporary interior DRU complex in the Achterhoek, 2008

Frederike designed the interior of the presentation-day for a new museum in Ulft (area of the Oude IJssel), by order of Stichting Museumontwikkeling. For the old factory where the museum is planned to be located Frederike designed three spaces: a 'designhall' in white clear light to get the maximum out of the brainstormsessions, the designsessions and presentations, an exhibitionhall in red, wich symbolizes the crafts of the blacksmith with his fire, and a blue fabricationhall where schools and company's were presenting their new and innovative ideas about the future.
