2011.06.30__Basic Instincts, Berlin

Premsela's multidisciplinary exhibition Basic Instincts, showcasing contemporary, directional visions in Dutch fashion culture, will open in Berlin on 30 June. The exhibition will map a range of ideas that originate in fashion but border on and interact with other disciplines. Frederike will present her Caleidoscope lamps and the Wallpaper Going South. 2011.02.12__Workshop

On the 12th of February Frederike will give a Workshop about Conceptual Art for the event 'Kruisbestuiving' ('cross-pollination'), organized by Upact. Students and seniors come together to brainstorm about 'durable peace', with different workshops for inspiration.

2011.02.05__Jewellery

For the C3 Gallery, Frederike made a series of porcelain jewellery, based on the Amazons from the old Greek mythology. Handmade and unique pieces.

2010.10.14__LangLeveLakerlopen

Short movie about the neighbourhood-project Frederike did with Wijkwiskunde for Woonbedrijf in Eindhoven. Together with the residents of Lakerlopen (Eindhoven) we painted icons of all the house-types in the district on the wall. Typical words or little sentences from the residents, the DNA of Lakerlopen, were cut out of steel. Everybody got his own word, the positive, as a 'house-jewel', the negative part is placed on the wall. The positive always fits in the negative, so the neighbourhood will be attached to their district, even when they're moved to another place. (movie by Merlijn Michon)

2009.09.18__Art in Roosendaal

Together with Jana Flohr, Frederike made an object of art for the 'Norbertus college' in Roosendaal, in honor of their 90th anniversary. Last friday (18 Sept) was the presentation on their schoolyard with all the students, old students and the schoolband! This design, which represents a livingroom, will be completed by the students. In this way it will be a dynamic piece of art which will be different every semester. On the pictures below you can see the white 'birthday-cakes' the students made for the opening. 2009.09.02__Frederike won the "Europe 40 under 40" award 2009

Frederike is selected to be one of the most promising and emerging European design talent (under 40 years) for 2009! From across 19 European nations, the European Centre for Architecture Art Design and Urban Studies and The Chicago Athenaeum: Museum of Architecture and Design selected 60 architects and industrial designers for the "Europe 40 under 40". Projects were judged on the merit of design innovation with the emphasis on pushing the envelope on conventional methods and exploring new ideas, theories, and approaches to contemporary design. 2009.05.07__Race-furniture

Frederike designed a series of race-furniture for the BNO event Vroaam! together with Suzanne Rietdijk and Jeroen Wand for the Groene Honden.

2009.04.29__Strandleven: 'Art, for kids only'

The Groene Honden arrange the Zandvoorts Museum with new work! Kids from 10 -14 years are going to assist the artists with Action Painting, Real Life Photo-Shooting and Building Up-Side-Down Sandcastles, so they're experiencing the process of art and design. At the end everything will be sold by auction!

2009.04.19__Folded Clock

2008.12.13__DRU complex in the Achterhoek

Frederike designed the interior of the presentation-day for a new museum in Ulft (area of the Oude IJssel), by order of Stichting Museumontwikkeling. The old factory where the museum is located in has three spaces: designhall, exhibitionhall and the fabricationhall.

Frederike went to Cuba! From the 12th of November till the 4th of December she discovered the beautiful Island.

The Groene Honden (Green Dogs) invite you to come out and play during the Dutch Design Week Eindhoven! 12 June opens the exhibition 'Kamer te huur' of the Groene Honden, part of the presentation U-Home by De Nieuwe Salon at Utrecht. It's an exhibition of 50 artists based in Utrecht. 2008.01.30__Small Space Design Race

Frederike and Jana are winners of the Small Space Design Race! Tuttobene organised the Small Space Design Race during the Dutch Design Week in Eindhoven, Frederike and Jana participated and won the contest with a home gardening tool. The product will be presented in Milan during the Salone Internazionale del Mobile at Tuttobene Milan 2008.
