For the Norbertus College in Roosendaal Frederike designed together with Jana Flohr the Schoolyard Livingroom, in honor of their 90th anniversary.
This social art piece shows different pieces of furniture in the student's 'living room', which are derived from sketch-like pen drawings. These drawings are pulled into a 3-dimensional world, and eventually shaped of steel tubes like a climbing frame.
The students will make this design complete by giving their own input in the empty rings. In this way it will be a dynamic piece of art which will be different every semester. In the picture you can see white birthday cakes with candles, made by students to celebrate the 90th anniversary.
